Francesco Lissoni
I am professor of Applied Economics at the University of Brescia, Faculty of Engineering, and I have been working with CESPRI since 1990. Both my teaching and my research activity deal with the economics of technical change. My PhD dissertation and early papers explored the economics of innovation adoption. More recently I have published on the economics of knowledge diffusion, the economics of science, with special emphasis on university-industry technology transfer. Together with colleagues from the KEINS project I have recently assembled a database on university patenting in Europe, which is freely accessible. To know more about it, see the attachment below. I am the managing director of ESSID, the European Summer School of Industrial Dynamics and a member of the DRUID Advisory Committee. I am also member of the Teaching Committee of the EMT PhD Programme. I live in Milan with my wife, two children, and many bicycles. Cycling in Milan is not fun, but it is the fastest way to move around. To know why, visit Ciclobby's website. Last updated June 09, 2009
