Welcome to Stefano Brusoni's home page!

Stefano Brusoni

I have been working in Bocconi's Dept. of Economics since May 2003. I am Associate Professor of Applied Economics.  I am also deputy director of KITeS and coordinator of the MSc Programme in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology - EMIT.

In 2001, I obtained my DPhil at SPRU (Science and Technology Policy Research Unit), University of Sussex, where I stayed on as an ESRC Post-Doc Fellow and then as a Research Fellow. In the process, I got married and -together with Eugenia- managed to finish two DPhils (one each!), have two children (Enrico and Pietro), remain a keen Inter supporter, become an incompetent rugby watcher, and preserve some degree of sanity.  I am open to challenges on the last point.

I am engaged in multidisciplinary research in the innovation studies area. My key research interests focus on the organizational implications of modular design strategies, vertical division of labour, the measurement of knowledge creation and distribution processes.

On this page, you'll find information about my research interests, publications and various idiosincracies. If you have questions, comments or feedback, please feel free to email me at stefano.brusoni@unibocconi.it
